ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune has congratulated the national football team for their precious victory against Cameroonian opponents (1-0), in a World Cup first-leg play-off match (Qatar 2022) Friday at Japoma Stadium in Douala, Cameroon.
“You have made a superb performance and you have filled us with joy… You are always great. We celebrate together, Allah be willing, the qualification (to the 2022 World Cup) in Blida,” President Tebboune tweeted.
The World Cup second leg play-off match will take place on Tuesday (March 29th) at Mustapha Tchaker Stadium in Blida (50-km southwest of Algiers) from 20:30 local time (19:30 GMT).
