CONSULAR REGISTRATION

Consular registration is an essential step for any citizen regularly established abroad, wishing to benefit from consular protection and identity and travel documents.

First consular registration

Documents required:

  • Copy of an Algerian identity document
  • Birth certificate extract
  • Certificate of Algerian nationality, in the absence of this document the applicant can:
    • if he was born in Algeria, provide an extract of the father’s birth certificate
    • if he was born abroad, provide two extracts of the birth certificate of the two paternal ascendants born in Algeria
  • Copy of the residence certificate justifying the legal stay in Croatia
  • Proof of activity (work certificate, school certificate, etc.)
  • Proof of address
  • Four (04) recent identity photographs of the same print size
  • Marriage certificate if the applicant is married
  • Extract of the birth certificate of each minor child

Renewal of the Consular Registration Card:

Documents required:

  • Expired Consular Registration Card
  • Proof of residence
  • Proof of activity (work certificate, school certificate, etc.)
  • Two (2) recent photographs of the same print size
