The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Mr. Gordan Grlić Radman paid an official visit to Algeria on December 11 and 12, 2021, during which he was received in audience by Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, and had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra.
During this visit, the first of a Croatian Head of Diplomacy in Algeria, two cooperation agreements were signed: Agreement on the establishment of an Algerian-Croatian Business Council and Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (IDRI) and the Croatian Diplomatic Academy.
The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia was accompanied by an economic delegation led by the Vice-President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK), Mr. Ivan Barbarić.
