ALGIERS – Monday, 30 October 2023 (APS) – The Speaker of the People’s National Assembly Brahim Boughali stressed Sunday, in Algiers during his visit to the 26th International Book Fair of Algiers (SILA), “the necessity of unifying the ranks of the Palestinian factions and the Arab position to defend the Palestinian cause.”
When visiting the space devoted to Palestine at the pavilion of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, Boughali called for “the unification of the ranks of the Palestinian factions, henceforth an imperative imposed by the reality and the only way to defend the Palestinian cause.”
“We can’t defend the cause without a real Palestinian unity,” he said, adding that “the unification of the Palestinian ranks and the support of the Arab and Muslim States to the Palestinian people constitute the only solution to this cause.”
For Boughali, “what is happening in Palestine is nothing but a revival of the Palestinian cause which embodies “the honor of the Arabs,” reiterating Algeria’s unchanging position towards Palestine and its cause, for which it will spare no effort.
The Arab countries, insisted Boughali, must support Palestine in a “heroic, historical and unified manner,” inspired by Algeria’s position towards the Palestinian cause, the cause of all the Arab and Muslim States.
