ALGIERS – Thursday, 18 May 2023 (APS) – Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Mokhtar Didouche, stressed on Thursday in Algiers the importance of improving the services and facilities at the level of the various tourist structures in order to ensure a successful summer season.
Chairing a meeting with the directors of Tourism and Handicrafts of the 14 coastal provinces and the executives of the ministry, Didouche insisted on “taking all the measures to ensure a successful summer season,” while adopting “initiatives for the benefit of tourists in order to allow them to spend their holidays in all serenity.
He further recalled the efforts of the ministry to improve the services provided to attract as many summer visitors as possible.”
This meeting is part of the follow-up of the preparations for the summer season, especially as the country’s high authorities “attach major importance” to the promotion of tourism in Algeria.
