ALGIERS – Thursday, 02 June 2022 (APS) – The members of the Executive Council of the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) extended, in Dakar, “special and unanimous thanks” to President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, “in recognition of Algeria’s permanent and wholehearted support” to this African media body, the Algerian Radio said Wednesday in a statement.

 

AUB Executive Council extended, during its 26th session held in the Senegalese capital, “special and unanimous thanks” to President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, after the attribution of the headquarters of the Center of Television and Radio Programme Exchange in Bouchaoui (Algiers) to AUB administration.

All the members of AUB Executive Council welcomed Algeria’s huge efforts in its support to the Union, notably after the presentation made by its director general Grégoire Ndjaka about his latest visit to Algeria and during which the aforementioned headquarters was officially received by AUB, a building that Algeria offered by way of donation to the Union.

Algeria, which participated actively in this 26th session, is represented by the director general of the Algerian Radio Mohamed Baghali, the director general of Television Broadcasting Algeria (TDA) Rachid Bestam and the adviser of the Algerian Television’s director general Abderrahmane Khoudja.
