WASHINGTON – Wednesday, 16 August 2023 (APS) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, said that priority “must always be given” to a political solution to the crisis in Niger, stressing that the military solution, proposed as a last resort by West African leaders, “does not guarantee a successful resolution” to the conflict in this neighbouring country.
