SAINT-PETERSBURG (Russia) – Saturday, 29 July 2023 (APS) – Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane held Friday discussions, in Saint-Petersburg, with the head of the Malian State and Interim President Assimi Goïta.

During this meeting, held on the sidelines of the participation of Prime minister who is representing the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune in the 2nd Russia-Africa Summit, Benabderrahmane transmitted to the Malian head of State the fraternal greetings of President Tebboune, as well as his determination to continue the efforts aimed to strengthen the bilateral relations, maintain peace, security and stability, and to support the development in the region.

 

These talks were an opportunity to discuss the state and prospects of the bilateral relations in various fields, exchange views on the regional situation and ways of joint action between the two countries in order to deal with the various challenges facing the region.

At the end the meeting, President Goita asked Prime minister to transmit his fraternal greeting to the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
