ALGIERS – Monday, 29 May 2023 (APS) – The president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Sunday sent a message of congratulations to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on his election for a new term, in which he expressed his strong desire to work together with him for “further enhancement of coordination and consultations.”
“Your Excellency, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of our sister country, the Republic of Turkey, Your Excellency, President and dear brother, it is with great pleasure that I offer, in my name and on behalf of the Algerian people, my congratulations on the brother Turkish people’s renewed confidence in your kind person, my warm and sincere congratulations and my best wishes of success in your noble missions in the service of your people,” President Tebboune said in his message, wishing “further achievements on the path of progress under (President Erdogan’s) wise leadership.”
“Your election for a new term as president of the Turkish Republic, the sister country, does reflect the people’s confidence in your enlightened policy and their strong support for your wise leadership throughout the sustainable development process to meet the major challenges both at home and at the regional and international levels,” the congratulations message said.
It is also “recognition of the noble and outstanding services you have provided to your brotherly people.”
