ALGIERS – Monday, 05 June 2023 (APS) – Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane on Monday received Italy’s minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, Francesco Lollobrigida, who is on a working visit to Algeria, Prime Minister’s office said in a statement.
The meeting was an opportunity for the two officials to “reiterate the depth of the historical relationship of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and the common desire of their leaders to strengthen bilateral partnership in various fields, especially in agriculture and related sectors, and enhance their joint goal to achieve food security,” the statement said.
The meeting took place in the presence of the minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohamed Abdelhafid Henni, the statement concluded.
