ALGIERS – Saturday, 02 April 2022 (APS) – President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Friday a phone call from Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi with whom he broached the state of the strong bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them as well as the development of the governmental action, the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement.
“President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received today a phone call from Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi with whom he broached the strong bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them as well as the development of the governmental action,” said the source.
On this occasion, “President of the Republic was informed about the visit next Sunday to Algeria of a delegation representing the Italian company ENI, as part of the energy cooperation between the two countries,” said the source.
“In order to strengthen the bilateral cooperation, the Italian Prime Minister accepted the invitation of President of the Republic to visit Algeria as soon as possible,” added the source.
