ALGIERS – Sunday, 09 April 2023 (APS) – President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Sunday a phone call from the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raissi, who extended his best wishes to him and to the Algerian people on the holy month of Ramadan, the presidency of the Republic said in a statement.
“President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Sunday a phone call from the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raissi, who extended his best wishes to him and to the Algerian people on the holy month of Ramadan,” the statement said.
The head of State “extended his best wishes to the president and the people of Iran,” the statement said, adding that the two leaders “examined the state of bilateral relations, and agreed on promoting and enhancing them in the political and economic fields in the best interests of the two peoples.”
