ALGIERS – Sunday, 27 February 2022 (APS) – President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune gave Sunday, in the meeting of the Council of ministers, instructions to open the commercial shipping line between Algiers and the Senegalese capital Dakar, the Presidency of the Republic said in a communiqué.
“President of the Republic welcomed the opening of a shipping line to Mauritania and ordered the opening, as soon as possible, of another similar line to Dakar (Senegal),” said the source.
Algiers-Nouakchott commercial shipping line, which was opened Thursday at the Port of Algiers, will facilitate and strengthen trading between the two countries and is meant to be a gate to enter the African markets.
