ALGIERS – Thursday, 19 January 2023 (APS) – President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired, Thursday at the Palace of Nations (Algiers), the opening ceremony of the work of the meeting Government-walis, themed “Local Development: evaluation and prospects.”
The opening ceremony started by the reading of verses from the Holy Quran before the performance of the national anthem.
This meeting, organized by the Ministry of the Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning, is part of the assessment of actions taken in the last three years in terms of local development.
The meeting’s participants will examine the state of implementation of the orientations of the President of the Republic, as well as their impact on the improvement of the living conditions of the citizen and local economy.
The participants will also discuss the process to speed up local socio-economic development through a comprehensive and coherent roadmap.
