ALGIERS – Sunday, 24 December 2023 (APS) – President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, stressed, during the meeting of the Council of Ministers which he chaired on Sunday, the need to extend, in a unified manner, digitization to all government sectors, under the supervision of the High Commission for Digitization, according to a communiqué from the Council of Ministers.

Regarding the state of progress in digitizing the State’s property, tax and customs services, “the President welcomed the progress made to digitize the finance sector,”calling for “the continuation and strengthening of efforts in coordination with the High Commission for Digitization,” according to the source.

In this regard, the President of the Republic “stressed the need to extend digitization to all government sectors, in a unified manner, under the supervision of the High Commission for Digitisation.”

President Tebboune “has further ordered the presentation of reports to monitor the progress made, while accelerating the completion of all phases, in view of their importance for the development of government action as a whole,” added the same source.
