ALGIERS – Wednesday, 31 May 2023 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Wednesday in Algiers the Rector of the Mosque of Paris, Dr Chems-Eddine Hafiz, hailing the prestigious role of this religious institution, which raises the banner of moderate Islam, fraternity, and tolerance, in compliance with the laws of the hosting state, said the Presidency of the Republic in a statement.
“The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Wednesday in Algiers the Rector of the Mosque of Paris, Dr. Chems-Eddine Hafiz, who made a detailed presentation on the activity and missions of the mosque in the service of the Algerian and Muslim community in France,” said the source.
“On this occasion, President Tebboune thanked the rector of the Mosque of Paris for his efforts, and welcomed the prestigious role of this religious institution, which raises the banner of moderate Islam, fraternity, and tolerance, in compliance with the laws of the hosting state,” said the source.
