ALGIERS – Sunday, 12 March 2023 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune held talks Sunday with his Ugandan counterpart, Yoweri Museveni, who is on a state visit to Algeria.
Previously, the host of Algeria was received by President Tebboune at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic.
In the morning, Uganda’s president laid a wreath of flowers in front of the memorial stele and observed a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs of the Algerian Revolution. He also visited the Central Museum of the Army where he received detailed information on the stages of the History of Algeria and the National Liberation War.
President Museveni arrived Saturday in Algiers under a state visit until Tuesday, at the invitation of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
