ALGIERS – Wednesday, 31 May 2023 (APS) – President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held on Wednesday a phone conversation with his brother, President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to whom he reiterated his warm congratulations, on behalf of the Algerian people and on his own behalf, following his re-election for a new term of office, said the presidency of the Republic in a statement.
“President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held on Wednesday a telephone conversation with his brother, President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to whom he reiterated his warm congratulations, on behalf of the Algerian people and on his own behalf, following his re-election for a new term of office, wishing him success after this democratic victory, the work of the Turkish people,” said the source.
For his part, “the Turkish President thanked his brother President Tebboune for his congratulations, and invited him to take part in the investiture ceremony,” added the same source.
