ALGIERS – Tuesday, 19 December 2023 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, congratulated his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah al-Sissi on his re-election as president of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
“Your re-election for a further term of office will enable you to continue on your course towards greater progress and prosperity for your country, and to consolidate its pioneering role, particularly at a time marked by regional and international challenges,” continued the President of the Republic.
“While expressing my heartfelt wishes for success, I would like to seize this opportunity to reaffirm our constant concern to strengthen the historical ties of fraternity linking our two brotherly peoples, and to broaden our cooperation and partnership in various fields, within the framework of consultation and coordination on regional and international issues of interest to our two countries and the Arab-Muslim nation,” President Tebboune stressed.
