MOSCOW – Wednesday, 14 June 2023 (APS) – President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, awarded on Wednesday in Moscow “El Achir” medal of the National Order of Merit to Andrei Pavlenko, in recognition of his contribution to the neutralisation of thousands of mines planted by the French occupiers along Algeria’s borders during the glorious War of Liberation.
As part of his State visit to Moscow, the President of the Republic awarded “El Achir” medal of the national order of merit to Andrei Pavlenko, “in recognition of his noble contribution, on behalf of his State and his people, to the elimination of thousands of mines planted by the French occupiers along Algeria’s borders during the glorious War of Liberation.”
President Tebboune began, on Tuesday, a three-day State visit to the Russian Federation at the invitation of his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, as part of the “strengthening of cooperation between the two friendly countries.”
