ALGIERS – Saturday, 27 August 2022 (APS) – The three-day official visit to Algeria made by French President, Emmanuel Macron, since Thursday is “very successful” and has “put many things in their place,” said Saturday in Algiers, President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
“This is an excellent, necessary and useful visit for the relationship between the two countries. From my point of view, it is a very successful visit that has put many things in their place,” said President Tebboune to the press after signing the “Algiers Declaration for a renewed partnership” between Algeria and France.
The visit of the French president has thus “allowed a reconciliation that would not have been possible if it were not for the personality of President Macron,” added President Tebboune.
