ALGIERS – Thursday, 25 May 2023 (APS) – Prime Minister, Aimene Benabderrahmane received Thursday in Algiers the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zambia, Nelly Butete Kashumba Mutti who is visiting Algeria, said the Prime Minister’s Office in a statement.
The two parties discussed “the historical and strong relations between Algeria and Zambia and ways to boost bilateral cooperation in various areas, including in the parliamentary field, to raise bilateral relations to the level of aspirations of the two brotherly countries,” said the same source.
The meeting was also an opportunity to “discuss ways to develop bilateral consultation on regional and international issues of common interest in the framework of the African Union (AU) to achieve peace, stability, and development within the African continent.
