ALGIERS – Tuesday, 16 May 2023 (APS) – Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane received Monday, in Algiers, the Portuguese Minister of Economy and Maritime Affairs António Costa Silva who is on a working visit to Algeria, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
The statement added that the meeting, held at the Palace of the Government, in the presence of Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry Ali Aoun, offered an opportunity to review “the status and prospects of bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, particularly in view of the outcomes of the sixth session of the Algerian-Portuguese Joint Economic Working Group which took place in Algeria on 14-15 May 2023.”
The two sides discussed “the important bilateral events that both countries are actively preparing for,” emphasizing their “firm determination to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.”
