ALGIERS – Thursday, 02 June 2022 (APS) – The minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, said Thursday that Algeria’s oil production will increase to 1.039 Mbpd in July.

The increase comes in line with the decision taken by the participants in the 29th ministerial meeting OPEC/non-OPEC, held Thursday by video link.

The 23 signatory countries to the Declaration on Cooperation agreed upon an increase of production by 648,000 bpd in July.

Speaking at the end of the meeting, Arkab said that “for Algeria, the decision means an output increase by 17,000 bpd in July, which will allow us to reach a production of 1.039 Mbpd in July.”
