ALGIERS – Sunday, 04 September 2022 (APS) – Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab will take part, on Monday by videoconference, in the 32nd ministerial meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC countries (OPEC+), which will shed light on the situation of the international oil market and its short-term prospects, said the ministry in a statement on Sunday.

This meeting, which will bring together the 23 countries, signatories of the cooperation’s declaration, (13 OPEC countries and 10 non-member countries), will be preceded, on the same day, by the 44th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) during which the participants which “will have to assess, on the basis of the report drawn up by the Joint Monitoring Committee (JTC), the situation of the international oil market and its development prospects, as well as compliance with the production levels of the countries participating in the Declaration of Cooperation for the month of July 2022,” said the same source.
