ALGIERS – Saturday, 03 June 2023 (APS) – The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab took part in the 186th meeting of the Ministerial Conference of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in Vienna (Austria) on Saturday, said the Ministry in a statement.
The meeting focused on issues of common interest to the Organization’s members, the same source said.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Arkab held bilateral meetings with several OPEC ministers to exchange views on the international oil market situation, the statement said.
Arkab will also take part tomorrow Sunday in the 49th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) and the 35th OPEC and non-OPEC ministerial meeting.
At these meetings, “oil ministers will discuss the current situation of the international oil market and its short-term prospects.”
