TUNIS – Monday, 12 September 2022 (APS) – The Algerian karate team ranked 2nd in the general ranking of the North African Championship (kata and kumite) from September 9 to 11 in Tunis in the junior and senior categories/boys and girls.
At the end of the competition, the Algerian karatekas collected 43 medals (13 gold, 9 silver and 21 bronze) ranking behind Egypt which finished first with 51 medals (14 gold, 17 silver and 20 bronze).
Tunisia ranked 3rd with a total of 40 medals (8 gold, 10 silver and 22 bronze).
