ALGIERS – Thursday, 19 October 2023 (APS) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad instructed its embassies and diplomatic missions abroad to cancel all the preparations for the festivities commemorating the anniversary of the glorious Revolution of 1st November, in solidarity with Palestine, on the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Ministry said in a statement.

“On the instruction of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad instructed its embassies, missions, consulates general, and Algerian consulates abroad to cancel all the preparations for the festivities commemorating the anniversary of the glorious Revolution of 1st November this year, in addition of all related ceremonies,” the statement said.

This decision of the President of the Republic “mirrors the solidarity of the people and the Algerian State with our Palestinian brothers in the besieged Gaza Strip, who are facing an unjust aggression and an avalanche of crimes and massacres by the Zionist occupier,” the statement wrapped up.
