ALGIERS – Tuesday, 17 October 2023 (APS) – A minute’s silence was held Tuesday at 11:00 nationwide in memory of the martyrs of the massacres of 17 October 1961 in Paris.
The tribute comes in implementation of the decision taken by the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in 2021, as he decreed the observation of a minute’s silence throughout the national territory on October 17 of every year (at 11:00), a date that coincides with the National Migration Day.
