ALGIERS – Thursday, 02 November 2023 (APS) – President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has received a message from his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in which he expressed his best wishes to him and to the Algerian people on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the outbreak of the Liberation Revolution, according to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic on Thursday.
“President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received on Thursday a message from President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the outbreak of the Algerian Revolution, in which he extended his best wishes to him and to the Algerian people,” the source said.
The German President “expressed his willingness to continue strengthening the two countries’ strong relations in other important areas, including renewable energy, green hydrogen and immigration, highlighting Algeria’s important role in achieving peace and stability in the region and throughout the world, particularly through its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council,” concluded the source.
