ALGIERS – Saturday, 25 June 2022 (APS) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra received Saturday, in Oran, the Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean Nasser Kamel who is on a visit to Algeria to attend the official opening ceremony of the Mediterranean Games which will take place in this city, the ministry said in a statement.
On this occasion, the two sides examined “prospects of strengthening the regional cooperation as part of Euro-Mediterranean partnership to achieve the common objectives of security, stability and development,” said the source.
Nasser Kamel hailed “Algeria’s key and efficient role in the Mediterranean to promote a balanced and beneficial partnership for the two shores,” added the source.
