ALGIERS – Wednesday, 24 August 2022 (APS) – The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, held talks Wednesday with his Luxembourgian counterpart, Jean Asselborn, who is on a three-day working visit to Algeria.

Following the meeting between the two officials, the two sides signed two agreements on air and political cooperation.

Lamamra welcomed the signing of the two cooperation agreements, wishing to conclude soon other agreements, considering the desire of both countries to strengthen and develop their bilateral relations so as to reflect the friendship ties between them and the convergence of views on a number of issues of common interest.

“Relations between Algeria and Luxembourg are old and promising,” Lamamra said.

“The discussions held on Wednesday are likely to boost bilateral relations.”
