ALGIERS – Wednesday, 27 September 2023 (APS) – President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent a condolence message to Iraqi President Abdelatif Djamel Rashid, following the fire that broke out in the north of Iraq, leaving several victims, the Presidency of the Republic said Wednesday in a statement.
“The President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent a condolence message to the Iraqi President Abdelatif Djamel Rashid, following the painful ordeal that affected the Iraqi people, namely the fire that broke out in the north of Iraq,” said the source.
“Your Excellency Mr Abdelatif Djamel Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq, brotherly country, Following the fire that broke out in the north of Iraq that resulted in several casualties, We offer, on behalf of the Algerian people and Government and on my own behalf, our sincere condolences and our deep feelings of sympathy to the families of the victims and to the brotherly Iraqi people, while praying to Allah Almighty to grant the victims his Holy Mercy, give patience and consolation to their families, as well as a speedy recovery to the injured,” said the message.
