ALGIERS – Wednesday, 15 November 2023 (APS) – Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, announced on Wednesday in Algiers that Algeria had won 1st place for the best product stand at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) for 2023, which is currently taking place in Egypt.
In a statement to the press on the sidelines of the launch of the 1st International Date Fair, Zitouni said that Algeria had won first place for the best stand at the 3rd IATF 2023, currently being held in Egypt, with over 1,600 exhibitors.
The Minister also mentioned Algeria’s choice to host the 4th IATF in 2025, which will be organized by the African Export-Import Bank “Afreximbank,” in collaboration with the African Union (AU) and the General Secretariat of the AfCFTA (African Continental Free Trade Area).
The aim of this biannual event is to increase the volume of intra-African trade, and to introduce the main investment opportunities and investment assets on the African continent.
