ORAN (Algeria) – Sunday, 08 October 2023 (APS) – About one hundred Algerian and foreign exhibitors are taking part in the 20th International Real Estate, Construction, Housing, Public Works Show “Batiwest 2023,” open Sunday at Oran’s Mohamed-Benahmed Convention Center.
The show, which runs for a period of five days, will gather national and foreign companies, including Poland (guest of honor), Spain, China, Turkey, in addition to specialized banking institutions in the field of housing, professional education and vocational training institutions, and representatives from the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA).
The show commissioner, Zobeir Ouali, said in a press statement that this economic event offers a space to meet, exchange experiences among different professionals in the real estate and housing sector, and an opportunity to build partnership relations with the participating foreign companies.
Over 40% of the exhibitors are newly-founded companies specializing in the production of construction materials, aiming to market their products in western and southwestern regions of the country, he said.
On the sidelines of the show, which has become an annual tradition in Oran, bilateral meetings will be held between Algerian economic operators and their counterparts from Poland, with the aim of promoting partnerships and organizing conferences on construction, housing, and renewable energy sectors in Algeria.
