ORAN (Algeria) – Monday, 08 May 2023 (APS) – The Challenges of culture and tourism in the era of digital intelligence is the theme of an international conference to be held on May 14- 15 at the university of Mohamed Boudiaf University of Science and Technology in Oran (432-km west of Algiers), the event’s organizers said Monday.
Held by the Department of Architecture, at the university’s Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the meeting will focus on the mobilization of various active parties and bodies, such as public institutions, civil society and economic operators, to enhance the cultural and heritage aspect of Algeria.
The conference, to bring together Algerian and foreign experts, is intended for sharing experiences relating to the innovative achievements in the cultural and tourist industry in the digital era to promote tourism in Algeria.
The event’s organizers suggested four themes for the conference, namely “Cultural Intelligence,” “E-Tourism: An Ongoing Revolution,” “The Use of Modern Communication Technologies through Cultural Sites” and “The Promotion of Culture and Tourism by Research and Training.”
