ALGIERS – Wednesday, 20 December 2023 (APS) – Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi, stressed Wednesday the necessity of strengthening the economic cooperation between Algeria and her country, notably in trading and energy.

In a statement following the audience granted to her by the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Marsudi emphasized the necessity of working for “the strengthening of the economic cooperation” between Algeria and Indonesia, notably in trading and energy cooperation, “which will enable raising the level of our bilateral relations.”

Indonesian minister insisted on the necessity of “raising the bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the economic field, especially as these relations are already strong in politics.”

Marsudi said she had long discussions with the President Tebboune on “the actions to conduct at the bilateral level in order to defend the just and humanitarian causes, notably the Palestinian cause.”

The audience was held in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf and of the Acting Principal Private Secretary at the Presidency of the Republic, Boualem Boualem.
