ALGIERS – Thursday, 17 March 2022 (APS) – The 2nd the International Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Exhibition “ICT Maghreb” wrapped up Wednesday in Algiers. Three startups received the best innovation prize.

The winning startups received their awards at a ceremony attended by the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Karim Bibi Triki, and the Minister of Culture and Arts, Soraya Mouloudji.

The first prize was awarded to the startup “Doctus” which operates in the organization of events in the medical field while the second prize went to the startup Garini, which has developed an application to manage parking lots. Cleverzone, a startup working in the digitalization of healthcare in Algeria received the third prize.

This competition is considered “a real lever to boost new companies with great potential” and represents an opportunity “to discover young talent in the student category or having launched a particularly innovative activity in the IT field,” said the organizers of the show (Prolinkom Consulting and MM. Communication).

On this occasion, the Minister of Post and Telecommunications congratulated the young managers of startups on their innovations contributing to the economic development of the country, as well as companies participating in the exhibition.

He stressed the commitments of his ministry to support the digital industry in Algeria.

The exhibition, which opened last Monday at the Palace of Culture Moufdi Zakaria, has brought together IT decision-makers and provided a forum for reflection and exchange to advance projects.
