ALGIERS – Wednesday, 17 August 2022 (APS) – The Algerian Red Crescent (ARC) sent urgent humanitarian aid to Senegal, following the floods that hit several regions of this country.
“In application of the instructions of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the CRA organized, the Ministry of National Defense’s support, an operation of solidarity with our brothers in Senegal, consisting of the sending of 80 tons of foodstuffs, medicines, bedding and tents, following the floods that have occurred in several regions of this country”, declared Tuesday to the press the president of the said ARC’s president, Ibtissem Hamlaoui, Tuesday in a statement at the Boufarik military base (Blida).
“As part of its policy aimed at strengthening ties of brotherhood and solidarity with African countries, the Algerian State does not hesitate to hand aid to all the victims of these regions,” she said.
