ALGIERS – Thursday, 13 July 2023 (APS) – At its weekly meeting on Thursday, chaired by Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane, the Government considered a draft amending finance bill for 2023.
According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, this bill, presented by the Finance Minister, is intended to “introduce corrective measures and provisions to cover additional current expenditure linked to certain measures taken by the public authorities.
These measures are aimed at “preserving and supporting household purchasing power, reinforcing food security, and boosting the public investment program in certain provinces to ensure inclusive and sustainable growth.”
