ALGIERS – Thursday, 11 May 2023 (APS) – The government considered, in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane on Wednesday, amendments to the terms and conditions for the operation of air services, in order to facilitate the creation of private airlines.
According to a statement by the Prime Minister’s office, “the minister of Transport presented a draft executive decree amending the executive decree N° 2000-43, of 26 February 2000, setting the terms and conditions for the operation of air services.”
The amendment to the executive decree comes as part of “the implementation of president of the Republic’s guidelines on the processing of applications for the creation of private airlines meeting international standards.”
