ALGIERS – Saturday, 03 June 2023 (APS) – The President of the Council of the Nation (Upper House), Salah Goudjil hailed Saturday the quality of privileged relations between Algeria and Turkey, highlighting the bonds of brotherhood and friendship reflected in the coordination and cooperation between the two countries leadership, said the Upper House in a statement.
Representing the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of the Upper House of Parliament conveyed, in a statement to the Turkish news agency Anadolu, “the greetings and congratulations of the President of the Republic to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the occasion of his re-election as president of the Republic of Turkey for a third term.”
The Algeria-Turkey ties “are strong and will be further strengthened in the future, particularly in the political and business fields, and coordination between the diplomatic positions of the two countries will be further boosted in international fora.”
Goudjil also praised the “genuinely democratic measures” underway in Algeria and Turkey, affirming that the “great strides” taken by the two countries are likely to “further consolidate their integration in the future.”
