ALGIERS – Sunday, 09 July 2023 (APS) – General Saïd Chanegriha, the chief of staff of the People’s National Army, paid Saturday a visit to the Houari-Boumediene military academy of Cherchell, on the eve of the annual graduation at the academy, the ministry of National Defence said in a statement.
“Following the welcome ceremony, the chief of staff of the People’s National Army, in the presence of the commander of the Land Forces, the commander of the 1st military region and the commander of the military academy of Cherchell, chaired an orientation meeting with the Academy’s executives, teachers and students, in which he made an address,” the statement said.
In his orientation address, the chief of the Army staff said the Academy was “a mirror reflecting the major stages the People’s National Army went through in the strengthening of its military capacities.”
