ALGIERS – Sunday, 09 October 2022 (APS) – French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne on Sunday laid a wreath at the commemorative stele of the Martyrs’ Memorial in Algiers, observing a minute of silence in memory of the National Liberation War.
Earlier on Sunday afternoon, Borne started a visit to Algeria leading a large delegation.
She was welcomed upon her arrival at Houari-Boumediene international airport of Algiers by Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane, along with the minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, and members of the government.
