ALGIERS – Saturday, 20 August 2022 (APS) – President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Saturday received a phone call from President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, during which he offered his condolences for the victims of the wildfires that hit some parts of the country, the presidency of the Republic said in a statement.
“President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune has received today a phone call from the president of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, during which he extended his condolences for the victims of the fires that affected some provinces,” the statement said.
The two leaders tackled “bilateral cooperation, especially the agenda of President Macron’s expected visit to Algeria.”
