ALGIERS – Sunday, 13 August 2023 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent Saturday a message of condolences and compassion to the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, following the floods and mudslides in northern regions of the country that have left several people dead, injured or missing.
I was deeply saddened to learn of the floods and mudslides in northern China, which have left several people dead, injured or missing,” wrote President Tebboune in his message.
“On this sad occasion, I would like to extend to you, to the families of the victims and to the friendly Chinese people my heartfelt condolences, and my wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured,” said the President of the Republic.
