ALGIERS – Monday, 11 September 2023 (APS) – Algeria has offered its sincere condolences and expressed its deep compassion to Libya following the torrential rain and floods that hit the country, showing its willingness to support the Libyan people and help them in mitigating the impact of this natural disaster, the ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad said Monday in a statement.
“Following the torrential rain and tragic flooding that hit the brotherly State of Libya, Algeria offers its sincere condolences and expresses its deep compassion and deep feelings of sympathy as well as solidarity with the Libyan government and people in the face of this tragedy,” the statement said.
Algeria expresses “its readiness to stand beside its Libyan brothers and provide them with help and assistance to mitigate the effects of this disaster,” the statement concluded.
