ALGIERS – Tuesday, 24 May 2022 (APS) – The United Nations (UN) experts attending the UN regional conference on entrepreneurship in Amman (Jordan) welcomed Algeria’s experience in support of young project holders, said the office of the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Micro-enterprises in a communiqué.
As part of the second day of the high-level regional conference themed “Learning, Skills, Social integration and Transition of Youth to Decent Work”, the adviser to international cooperation at the Ministry, Zakaria Meghni took part in a workshop on the role of entrepreneurship in facing challenges related to youth and the labor market.
Meghni referred to the efforts of the Algerian government to support young project holders and entrepreneurs, including the reforms to the microenterprise sector and the promotion of entrepreneurship among women.
The experience of Algeria was welcomed by UN experts who stressed the need to share it with countries in the region.
