ALGIERS – Sunday, 23 April 2023 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received Saturday evening a phone call from the former Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who congratulated him and the Algerian people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, said the Presidency of the Republic in a statement
“The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Saturday evening a phone call from his brother Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of the State of Qatar, who congratulated him and the Algerian people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, wishing Algeria more progress and prosperity,” said the statement.
In turn, “President thanked his brother Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of the State of Qatar, offering him his wishes on this happy occasion and wishing him and the brotherly Qatari people more progress and prosperity,” the same source concluded.
