ALGIERS – Thursday, 20 April 2023 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Thursday a phone call from his brother, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi, who congratulated him on the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr, wishing him and the Algerian people more progress and prosperity, said the Presidency of the Republic in a statement.
“The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a phone call from his brother, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi, who congratulated him on the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr, wishing him and the Algerian people more progress and prosperity,” the statement said.
“The President of the Republic also offered his wishes, on this happy occasion, to his brother the Egyptian president, wishing him and the Egyptian people more welfare and prosperity,” the same source said.
